It's Magic

I went to Disneyland last night. I DO BELIEVE IN FAIRIES I DO BELIEVE!!!!!

I had the most magical time.............................

I was only going because it was free. I didn't have my daughter with me. I thought okay I have 2 hours to ride a couple of rides and then go to my business dinner. I asked the teenager working outside, if you had 2 hours what two rides would you ride. He said Space Mountain and Indiana Jones. I had my plan. I walked in the doors towards the castles and....................................

Cinderella walked over and hugged me. Then I saw Belle and Jasmine and Aurora and Cruella. I was overwhelmed. I stepped to the side by the gift shop as the tears came. This week castmember (employee) said it is very rare to see them all together and she could understand my emotion. I bought a camera and went back out to get their pictures.

I tried all day to fool myself into thinking I had a plan. Okay after Space Mountain and Indiana Jones, I am out of here. But then I saw the Princess Store. They have everything, everything I ever wanted when I was a girl. Crowns, boas, dresses, gloves, shoes......and not that crappy stuff you buy at Halloween. I bought Hailey a hairbrush with Tinkerbell on it. Then I bought some computer stickers for my sister to turn her computer into a fairy computer. Then I bought Hailey a Cinderella doll. It was two sided with Belle underneath.

So I went to ride Space Mountain. I also at an entire cotton candy before I got on the ride. Then I got a fast pass so I could ride again without standing in line!!! I trekked over to the Indiana Jones and the line was on 30 minutes. I pulled out my blackberry and tried to play Sudoko, but they had artifacts and the walls were decorated and you watched a movie.....I was too entertained to play Sudoko.

I was still on plan and still had time to just go see Mickey's house before I left......I walked up there and somehow ended up in the line. I got my picture with Mickey!!!!! So obviously, when I got out I had to have a Mickey Mouse pretzel!!!

That's when I saw the penny machine!!! I collect those smushed pennies. Usually only one per trip. But I wanted the right one. I asked the lady at the counter, where can I find some more? She gave me a printout and I was a goner!! I walked all over looking at each machine and ended up with five different ones!!! Then I bought a frozen lemondade

I have to stay I really was a kid in a candy store. I did not have to beg my mom for cotton candy, I just bought it. No one was there to stop me from buying TJ a shirt that says Grumpy and me one that has Tinkerbell and says "Little Miss Sassy"

Finally, it started getting dark. I can still make drinks for my business dinner. So, I asked one of the castmembers how to get to the exit. He said oh you can't leave now. The are about to start Fantasmic. I said what is that? He said you have to stay really you have to stay and see it. OMIGOD I am so glad I did!!! It really was incredible. It was the movie Fanstasia come to life with real water and the lagoon caught on fire. It was so awesome.

After that I went to go get a Pooh Penny, then I rode Space Mountain again and saw an 80's cover band. My age was starting to show ===I knew the words and I danced like an old white woman whose feet were killing her.

As I started to go I finally saw Tinkerbell. She flicked her wand and lit up the front flower garden in a contagion of little white lights. I asked them to stamp my hand just in case I came back and got on the shuttle. I started to cry. I couldn't believe I was leaving. Then two little boys started talking about their Jedi training with real swords.

I started making plans for bringing Hailey. In about 4 years, she and I will have tea with Cinderella.
